FRANKFORD (WVDN) – The Pyles & Turner Foundation recently awarded a grant to Northern Greenbrier Latchkey Kids to aid in their efforts of providing quality after school care to students attending Frankford Elementary. The board members of Latchkey would like to extend a thank you to the Pyles & Turner Foundation for its support of our organization.

Northern Greenbrier Latchkey Kids was established in 1995 in order to provide low cost after school care for working parents whose children attend Frankford Elementary School. Latchkey opens for all early dismissals and closes at 6 p.m. Daily, the children arrive via the school bus and are provided a healthy snack. They are encouraged to share about the day at school and to complete any homework, supervised in social playtime both indoors and out, and given opportunities to be creative through craft-making. A discount is offered for those families having more than one child enrolled. Latchkey is offering free registration for the 2022-2023 school year. If interested in having your child attend or if you would like to be a childcare worker, call 304-497-3392 before May 27.
