A downtown Lewisburg intersection is operating as a four-way stop after a tractor trailer struck a stoplight on Wednesday night, Feb. 22.
According to Lewisburg Fire Chief Joe Thomas, no one was hurt when a tractor trailer hooked the stoplight at Washington and Jefferson streets while attempting a turn.
The intersection of Jefferson Street (Rt. 219) is also affected, with north-south traffic operating with a yellow light, and Foster Street traffic operating with a flashing-red light. Thomas said it will likely be a week before the light is repaired.
