The results of The West Virginia Daily News raffle are in!
The past few editions of the paper held an advertisement with a little for those at home to do – fill it out with their information, and they could win a free one-year subscription to The West Virginia Daily News, with carrier delivery included.
After the December 23 deadline for submissions passed, a name was drawn.
The winner is Delsie Knicely of Frankford!
Knicely came to The West Virginia Daily News’ office to claim her prize.
“She’s been a loyal reader of the paper for many years, and was just excited to get the call,” said Advertising Editor Susan Linton, who presented Knicely with the award.
Over the next year, the Daily News’ team will be bringing Knicely coverage of local events in Greenbrier, Raleigh, Summers, Monroe, and Pocahontas counties, from government and crime to fun features and local sports.
Congratulations Ms. Knicely, and we hope to continue to meet more of our readership over the next year!
