It’s almost Christmas and if you are like me you are scrambling to get everything done. This year has totally gotten away from me. As bad as I hate to say it, I’m really not very festive this year. I’ve lost a few friends and a family member since September and I’m finding it hard to be in the Christmas spirit but then I think of those that just went through the tornado and lost everything and I’m put in my place because as much as I’ve lost, some have lost so much more. So, with that in mind, always remember, someone, somewhere can have it worse than we do. We need to hold dear to what we have and be thankful for what we have been blessed with because at any moment it can be taken away. This time of year is the best time to hold our family close and remember what this season is all about. It’s not about things; it’s about love and giving of yourself.
