Wesley Puffenbarger
PUFFENBARGER
Wesley Puffenbarger, 70, of Clintonville, WV, left us Monday, November 29, 2021 surrounded by his family at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.
Wesley was born on February 26, 1951 in Covington, VA; he was the son of the late Clay W. Puffenbarger, Sr. and Kring Wolfe Puffenbarger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jean Rudd; grandson, Kelly Rudd and a great grandson, James Richmond.
Wesley retired from the Greenbrier Hotel as a massage therapist. He was a proud member of the Clear Creek Rod and Gun Club, the NRA, the VFW and the American Legion. He was a disabled Vietnam veteran and was one of the founding members of the Throttle Throbs Car Club. He enjoyed the outdoors as well as detailing his cars. He enjoyed the company of his pet miniature schnauzer, “Heidi”. Wesley was good natured and kind hearted. He was a great husband, wonderful father, grandfather and was loved by anyone he was acquainted with and he will be missed by so many.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Dorothy Okulovich Puffenbarger; sons, John (Sybil) Zickafoose , Jack (Yvonne Bennett) Zickafoose and a daughter, Judy (Mason) Morgan; grandchildren, Jackie (Allen Collins) Dilley, Julie Zickafoose, Jenna (Ryan) Long, Alisha Amick, Canyon Haynes, Shae Amick, Cody (Macie Goodson) Zickafoose, Brooke Zickafoose, Anthony (Samantha) Richmond, Amie (Austin Fultz) Richmond and 15 great grandchildren.
Service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Visitation will be 6-8 on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
