West Virginia Division of Highways announces that a planned resurfacing project on US 60, Midland Trail, between Charmco and Rupert, will begin on Thursday, October 14, 2021, according to Greg Hylton, District Nine Construction Engineer.
The resurfacing project on US 60, Midland Trail, begins 0.25 miles east of WV 20 and ends at the western limits of Rupert.
West Virginia Paving, the contractor for this project, plans to work between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Motorists are asked to use caution in the work zone and follow the direction of flagging personnel. This project is scheduled for completion on or before October 22, 2021.
Flagging personnel will be in place to maintain traffic flow; however, motorists can expect delays and should allow additional time for their commute or seek alternate routes. Motorists should slow down and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
The West Virginia Division of Highways expresses their regret for the inconvenience this causes the citizens and guests to the area.
Please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
