Hinton — Construction of “The Point” formerly known as Bellepoint River Access has been completed.
The Summers County Library Walking Book Club will meet on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. at Bellepoint Park. Walkers can bring their children, even young children in strollers, as well as well-behaved pets on leashes to enjoy the walk as well.

Ronceverte — The Ronceverte City Police Department is hiring for the position of a full-time officer. Applications are available at the Ronceverte City Hall Monday – Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The deadline for applications to be submitted is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1.

Learning to make a quilted table runner will be held on Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cost is $95 for members and $105 for non-members.
