Edith Marie Bostic
Edith Marie Bostic, 86, of White Sulphur Springs, passed away on September 15, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 24, 1940, in Alvon, WV, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Oatie Kincaid Dixon.
Edith was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She loved her flowers and keeping her house spotless. Edith worked various jobs but probably enjoyed setting with the elderly the most.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Ray Bostic; son-in-law, Danny Boggs; brothers, Melvin and Jimmy Dixon.
Surviving are her daughters, Teresa Seldomridge (Tony) of Salem, VA, and Elizabeth “Ducky” Boggs of Union, WV; son, Johnny Bostic (Tammy) of White Sulphur Springs; sister, Betty Hepler of Nokesville, VA; 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in White Sulphur Springs with Rev. Chris Brewster officiating; interment will follow at the McCreary Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the church on Saturday.
Serving as pallbearers are Chad, Kevin, Eric, Austin, Hunter, and Justin.
