Greenbrier East Women’s Wrestling Coach Rob Frank has been selected to serve as an At Large Committee Member to the WVSSAC Coach Advisory Committee for Girls Wrestling.
The purpose of the WVSSAC Coach Advisory Committee for Girls Wrestling is to guide the rapid expansion of the sport across West Virginia. The committee advises the commission on establishing rules, developing separate state championship structures, and ensuring sustainable growth for emerging programs. The group acts as a liaison between coaches and the WVSSAC Board of Directors, ensuring female student-athletes have safe, fair opportunities to compete and secure collegiate opportunities. The committee will help to provide feedback on flexible rules that allow emerging girls’ programs to expand without facing the strict infrastructure and roster demands of fully sanctioned boys’ teams.
