Lewisburg, W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall will close out the 2026 Ivy Terrace Outdoor Music Series with a high‑energy finale featuring The Bing Brothers Band on Thursday, August 27, at 6:30 p.m. The performance will take place outside on Carnegie Hall’s Ivy Terrace, weather permitting.
Ivy Terrace concerts are a beloved Lewisburg tradition and a big reason the town is celebrated as one of the “coolest small towns in America.” Each summer, audiences gather on the expansive lawn in front of New River Community and Technical College to enjoy free, family‑friendly performances in a relaxed outdoor setting. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, pack a picnic, and settle in for an evening of live music under the open sky.
All Ivy Terrace concerts are sponsored by City National Bank, free to the public, and alcohol‑free. In case of inclement weather, concerts move indoors; attendees are encouraged to follow Carnegie Hall’s Facebook page for updates.
A true West Virginia treasure, The Bing Brothers Band delivers driving old‑time music steeped in Appalachian tradition. With lightning‑fast fiddle tunes, banjo breakdowns, and an unmistakable rhythmic pulse, their performances capture the spirit and joy of mountain music. Their infectious energy and deep musical roots promise a lively, foot‑tapping finale to this year’s Ivy Terrace season.
