FAIRLEA- Georgia native Gavin Adcock has quickly become one of country music’s fastest-rising stars, building a loyal following with his blend of outlaw country, Southern rock, and blue-collar storytelling. Raised on his family’s cattle farm in Watkinsville, Georgia, Adcock originally pursued football at Georgia Southern University before a knee injury in 2021 changed the outlook of his career. During his recovery, he began recording and releasing the songs he had been writing since high school and launched a music career that has since taken off in a big way.

Fans will have the opportunity to see Adcock perform live at the 2026 State Fair of West Virginia on Friday, Aug. 21, at 8 p.m. His concert is expected to be one of the fair’s marquee entertainment events, bringing his rowdy, crowd-pleasing show to Fairlea as part of this year’s concert lineup.
