Lewisburg City Council Meeting Set For Aug. 18

LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) — The Lewisburg City Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, in the Paul R. Cooley Council Chambers at Lewisburg City Hall, 942 Washington St. W. The meeting will also be available via Zoom; for information on how to participate, contact Lewisburg City Hall at 304-645-2080 by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting.

The full agenda is as follows:

  1. Call to Order — Mayor Beverly White
  2. Resolution 601, Water System Improvement Project Pay Request No. 50
  3. Communications from the Mayor — Mayor White
    — Appointments
  4. Communications from the City Manager — City Manager Misty Hill
    — Approval of bid for Green Space renovations
  5. Communications from City Council members
  6. Communications from Commissions
    — Planning Commission: Aaron and Monica Maxwell, 125 Janet St. — Minor subdivision of parcel
  7. Communications from Council Committees
    Finance Committee Report:
