WAYNESBURG, PA (WVDN) — Waynesburg University has selected Mackenna McClure as a 2026 recipient of the Leadership Award. She is the daughter of Dawn and Stacy McClure.
McClure is a resident of Lewisburg, West Virginia, and a graduate of Greenbrier East High School. She was a member of her high school volleyball and basketball team and served as secretary of her National Honor Society chapter.
McClure participated in many volunteer activities within both her school and her community, including campus clean-ups and hosting a bingo night at the local nursing home.
She intends to further both her academic and athletic endeavors at Waynesburg University.
