Rosalyn (Rosa) Victoria Krejcar Queman
Rosalyn (Rosa) Victoria Krejcar Queman of Lewisburg, WV, passed away at home in the company of her husband of 43 years, William (Bill) Hoggard, on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on December 16, 1937, to Bedrick and Ruth Krejcar in Salt Lake City, UT.
After graduating from high school, she joined the Navy. After the Navy and raising her children, Rosa returned to school, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Library Science from Old Dominion University and a Masters degree in Instructional Technology from Arizona State University. She had a long career in the educational field before retiring from William and Mary School of Education and moving to Lewisburg, WV. After moving to Lewisburg, she became a member of The Order of The Eastern Star and was a Worthy Matron of Union Chapter 122 and Lewisburg Chapter 108. She cooked for years for the Masonic lodge in Lewisburg.
Rosa enjoyed cooking, gardening, wreath making, along with many other arts and crafts. Rosa and Bill enjoyed traveling and made several trips to Europe and traveled throughout the United States.
She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Hoggard; her children, Rosemary Fennell and spouse, Tom, Beth Queman, Mark Queman and spouse, Sigrid, and Andrea (Annie) White and spouse, Steve; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg on August 22, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by an Order of The Eastern Star Ceremony.
