LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) — The Marie Leist Foundation has announced that its deadline for accepting grant requests is Sept. 1, 2026.

The Marie Leist Foundation was established in 2005 for the general purpose of making grants for charitable, religious, scientific and educational purposes to benefit the communities of Greenbrier and Pocahontas counties.

Nonprofit and government organizations wishing to apply for a grant may send a letter of request to The Marie Leist Foundation, P.O. Box 591, Lewisburg, W.Va. 24901. A copy of the organization’s 501(c)(3) tax exemption letter should be included with the request.
