NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

GREENBRIER COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

In accordance with W.Va. Code §8A-7-9, notice is hereby given that the Greenbrier County Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing during its regular meeting on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the County Commission Courtroom of the Greenbrier County Courthouse.

Under consideration at the Public Hearing is an application for a Rezoning from Commercial to Residential for following property:

20 acres of land located on the southern side of Old Powell Road, ½ mile outside of the city limits of Lewisburg, WV,  P/O Parcel #6-9-27

The rezoning application is available for review in the Planning Commission office located in the Courthouse.  Anyone interested in the application may attend the public hearing on August 26, 2026, at which time public comments will be heard. Written comments on the application will be considered if they are received prior to the hearing at: The Greenbrier County Planning Commission, 912 Court Street N, Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901.
