RAINELLE, W.Va. — If deep bass, custom sound systems, and incredible vehicles are your passion, mark your calendars for Saturday, July 11, as the Second Annual Shaking the Mountains Car & Audio Show returns to Meadow River Community Park in Rainelle.

Unlike any other event in the region, Shaking the Mountains is proud to host the area’s only automotive audio competition, giving bass enthusiasts an opportunity to put their systems to the test while showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship, and power behind today’s custom audio builds. From ground-pounding subwoofers to crystal-clear sound quality, competitors will battle to see who can truly shake the mountains.

While the audio competition is expected to be one of the day’s biggest attractions, visitors will also enjoy an outstanding display of classic cars, custom trucks, muscle cars, motorcycles, food vendors, local businesses, music, and a family-friendly atmosphere throughout the afternoon. Vehicle registration begins at 11 a.m., with the show running from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Organizers welcome competitors and spectators from across West Virginia and neighboring states for what has quickly become one of the area’s most unique automotive events. In addition to the exciting vehicles and audio competition, West End Wrestling will be on site serving delicious BBQ dinners, giving attendees another great reason to spend the day at the park while supporting one of the area’s local youth organizations.

The event is also giving back to the community by collecting donations for the Greenbrier Humane Society. Attendees are encouraged to bring pet food, blankets, towels, collars, leashes, toys, cleaning supplies, treats, or monetary donations to help care for local animals in need. Behind every successful event is a dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes. Organizers would like to recognize Brittany Mandeville, William Clingan, Belinda Clingan, Shaunte Cales, Chris Williams, and Jacob Phlegar for their countless hours of planning, coordinating, promoting, and preparing for this year’s event.

Their commitment and teamwork continue to help grow Shaking the Mountains into one of southern West Virginia’s premier automotive events. The event is proudly supported by Hedricks Customs LLC and Team Hertz Feelings, whose sponsorship has helped make the show possible while supporting its mission of bringing together automotive enthusiasts and strengthening the local community.

Whether you’re a bass competitor chasing the loudest score, a car enthusiast admiring beautifully built rides, or a family looking for a fun Saturday outing, the Second Annual Shaking the Mountains Car & Audio Show offers something for everyone. Join us on Saturday, July 11, at Meadow River Community Park and experience loud sounds, classic rides, good vibes, and strong community.

Come hear the bass, enjoy some great BBQ, support local organizations, and help make the second annual Shaking the Mountains Car & Audio Show the biggest one yet.
