The General Andrew Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is pleased to announce their recognition of two Greenbrier County students for their outstanding contributions to the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).
Madison Brinley, a student at Greenbrier East High School, received this recognition at an assembly of the student body at Greenbrier East. The honoree at Greenbrier West was Logan Berry who was also honored at a student assembly.
Ruth Sturgill, Historian of the General Andrew Lewis Chapter, presented each with a certificate honoring their understanding of the importance of ROTC training. They were each given a monetary award in addition to the certificate recognizing their character, leadership ability, military discipline and academic standing.
