Lewisburg, West Virginia – Carnegie Hall launches the 2026 Ivy Terrace Concert Series on Thursday, June 11, at 6:30 p.m., kicking off the summer season with an evening of music, community pride, and America250 celebration on the Ivy Terrace lawn.
This year’s opening concert features a performance by the West Virginia Jazz Orchestra, along with special appearances by Greenbrier East High School Choir, who will perform the national anthem. Winning entries of the Patriotism in Poetry Contest will also be read by the two winners. The event is supported with financial assistance from the West Virginia Semi-quincentennial Commission.
The concert also serves as an Appreciation Show for Carnegie Hall’s 2025–2026 Volunteers, honoring the individuals who help make the Hall’s programming vibrant, welcoming, and accessible throughout the year.
Sponsored by City National Bank, the concert takes place outdoors on Carnegie Hall’s Ivy Terrace, with attendees enjoying the performance from the expansive lawn in front of Carnegie Hall and New River Community and Technical College. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and pack a picnic for a relaxed summer evening of live music.
All Ivy Terrace concerts are free, open to the public, and alcohol‑free. In the event of inclement weather, performances will move indoors. Audience members are encouraged to Follow and Like Carnegie Hall’s Facebook page for the latest updates.
