WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS- A White Sulphur Springs woman is facing charges after police say another woman was pepper sprayed during an altercation at a local gas station earlier this month.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Greenbrier County Magistrate Court, officers with the White Sulphur Springs Police Department responded to the Marathon gas station on Main Street East at approximately 8:50 p.m. on May 11 for a reported assault involving pepper spray.
Police said officers arrived to find the victim, identified as Alexus Wall, being assisted after allegedly being sprayed in the face. EMS personnel were called to the scene and treated the victim while officers collected statements from witnesses.
In a written statement included in the complaint, Envy Easley told officers Wall contacted her through FaceTime and said several individuals were confronting her at the gas station and “won’t leave me alone.”
Easley alleged that during the confrontation, one individual encouraged another to “just do it” before Wall began screaming and said she could not see. Easley later called 911.
According to the complaint, Easley told police that Jada Standard allegedly sprayed the pepper spray, Jackson Roman recorded the incident, and Quincy Roman, Wall’s ex-girlfriend, was driving the vehicle involved. The suspects allegedly fled the scene in a black Kia after the incident.
Wall told officers she was attempting to pump gas at the Little General gas station when a woman approached her and referenced past conflicts from the previous summer and stated that Standard asked her, “if she remembered talking all that s***.”
Wall said she attempted to dismiss the confrontation and was speaking with her girlfriend on FaceTime when she was suddenly pepper sprayed.
The case remains pending in Greenbrier County Magistrate Court.
