COVINGTON, Va. (WVDN)- The Covington Lumberjacks Bark in the Park night has been rescheduled for June 16 at 6:30 p.m. after the original game was cancelled due to weather. Fans are encouraged to bring donations of dog and cat food for the Alleghany Humane Society, which will also be on hand with adoptable pets. Guests are welcome to bring their four-legged friends as long as they are on a leash.

NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR PROPANE

The Greenbrier County Board of Education, 391 Judyville Road, Lewisburg, WV, will accept sealed bids until 10:00 a.m. on June 4, 2026, for the following product:

• Approximately – 20,000 gallons of Propane

Successful bidder will furnish tank with monitoring and must include the following:

• tank set fee charges or initial set up fees

• tank rental, monthly or annually

• tank monitoring fee

• lock in price for the school year with no hidden fees such as hazmat, delivery fee, paper Invoice fee or any other fees other than WV taxes that are subject to change

• termination fees due to loss of bid and pump out fee for refund for propane

• emergence call out fees for an empty tank

Product is for Greenbrier County Schools with the following tank locations:

• Greenbrier East High School (2 tanks)

• Smoot Elementary School

• Crichton Elementary School

• Frankford Elementary School

All tanks are 1,000 gallon with a 120 gallon tank at Greenbrier East High School.

Preferred method of payment by VISA.

All bids must be sealed and will be competitive. Bid instructions and requirements are available at the Greenbrier County Board of Education, Office of Operations, Lewisburg, WV.

Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on June 4, 2026. The Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids presented.
