LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Carnegie Hall is now recruiting volunteers for the 33rd Annual Carnegie Kids’ College, taking place July 6–10 and July 13–17.
Kids’ College offers rising Kindergarten through 7th-grade students a unique opportunity to explore artistic and scientific subjects in a safe, creative, and encouraging environment. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting teaching artists across a wide range of classes, including pottery, origami, baking, basket weaving, painting, archaeology, music, and more.
Volunteers are encouraged to commit to at least one full weeklong session. Morning shifts run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and afternoon shifts run from 12:45 to 4:15 p.m.
Placement is first‑come, first‑served and may be influenced by instructor needs and enrollment. Adults and youth entering 9th grade and above may register at carnegiehallwv.org or by visiting https://fs26.formsite.com/6usHp2/qbvt6rnrag/index.
