LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Hair Design by Tom Hanna in Lewisburg celebrates a truly remarkable milestone in the beauty industry: 40 years of service, excellence, dedication, kindness, and commitment. For 40 years, the salon’s success is a testament to the hard work, passion, and personal touch that have defined his reputation since Thomas established the salon in 1986. Tom had a reputation for providing top-notch beauty services. He valued each customer and provided top-quality hair care, exceptional service, and technical excellence.

Tom had a passion for the beauty industry and provided a level of service that is hard to come by. He gave 40 years of passion, perseverance, and perfection from the very first client to generations of loyal families. This salon has been more than just a business; it has been a place of confidence, transformation, community, shared stories, and incredible friendships. Tom’s talent behind the chair was unmatched, but his loyalty to professionalism and the way he cared for every client who walked through the doors truly set him apart.

Since Tom‘s retirement in 2020, the salon is now operated by Melissa Seldomridge, who was honored to work with Tom for over 25 years. Her goal is to honor the legacy he built while continuing to nurture the relationships that have sustained the salon for decades. Under her leadership, the salon continues to build on his legacy and its service with the same integrity, reliability, and heart that characterized the business for decades. The salon remains committed to serving the community with warm professionalism and a touch of artistry that keeps clients looking and feeling their best.

”We aim to provide an exceptional experience, continuously growing innovations, and succeeding, while staying true to the values that brought us here, Melissa stated. “Without our wonderful clients, we couldn’t have done it.”

Melissa would like to thank everyone for their loyalty, friendship, and support over the years. “We’re grateful to be part of this community and excited for what the future holds,” she went on to say.
