RUPERT, W.Va. (WVDN) – Two Greenbrier County men and a female are being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to deliver.

In the early morning hours on May 11, 2026, numerous officers with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the vicinity of Rupert.

Once the residence was secured, a substantial amount of a white powdery substance consistent with fentanyl was located in a bedroom belonging to Lindsay June Clere and Tomy Allen Clere, according to the criminal complaint form. Both individuals confirmed that it was their bedroom and they had other personal belongings in the room, also. The officers also noted that scales and other packaging paraphernalia–commonly used for repackaging and distribution of controlled substances–were located within close range to the narcotics.

Officers continued to search the home, and deputies located a large amount of a white crystallized substance that, according to the complaint, was consistent with methamphetamine and a greenish leafy substance consistent with marijuana inside a bedroom closet and was identified to belong to Max Edward Stone. Deputies already had prior knowledge that the room was indeed Stones, as prescription bottles with Stone’s name were also located within the room. Scales and other packaging paraphernalia were located in Stone’s room as well, close to the other narcotics.

All three individuals are being held at Southern Regional Jail.

Disclaimer: A criminal complaint is an accusation. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The information provided is sourced from public records and official statements from the Greenbrier County Magistrate Court and law enforcement agencies.
