Fort Gay, W.Va. (WVDN) —On Monday, May 11, 2026, Troopers from the West Virginia State Police Wayne Detachment responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash along US RT 52 near the intersection of Cedar Heights Road, Fort Gay, WV.
Through the investigation it was discovered that a Toyota Rav4, driven by Braden N Murry, 21, of Louisa, KY, was traveling northbound on US RT 52, when it crossed the centerline striking a tractor trailer head-on. Mr. Murry was pronounced deceased at the scene. Christopher Keesee, 42, of Louisa, was the driver of the tractor trailer and he was uninjured.
The next of kin has been notified.
