MAXWELTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation and the West Virginia Small Business Development Center invite area businesses to the second session of the Greenbrier Business Builder Series: Understanding Your Numbers: Financial Statements.

This workshop, designed for new and early-stage businesses that want to build confidence in their financials and better understand how their business is performing, will take place at the Greenbrier Valley EDC offices on Wednesday, May 20, at noon. The session focuses on the fundamentals of bookkeeping and financial management, including common mistakes businesses make, how to separate personal and business finances, and how to read different financial statements.

Lunch will be provided, so registration is required. Individuals can register at https://bit.ly/wvsbdc520.

The next workshop in the Greenbrier Business Builder Series will be held on Wednesday, June 17, at noon and will cover social media marketing for small businesses.

The Greenbrier Valley EDC office is located at 804 Industrial Park Road, Suite 5, Maxwelton, WV 24957.
