LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) — The Greenbrier Humane Society is excited to announce a fun and unique community fundraising event in partnership with Carnegie Hall: Kitten Yoga, happening Saturday, May 16 at 10 a.m. in the Carnegie Hall Dance Studio (3rd Floor).
Led by instructor Jacque Minarik, this all-ages yoga experience combines a relaxing practice with the playful energy of adoptable kittens from Greenbrier Humane Society. Participants can expect a laid-back, entertaining workout while interacting with some of the shelter’s most adorable residents.
“You’ve heard of goat yoga and maybe even puppy yoga—but kitten yoga brings a whole new level of fun while directly supporting homeless animals in our community,” said a representative from Greenbrier Humane Society. “This event is not only a chance to enjoy wellness and laughter, but also an opportunity to showcase adoptable kittens and raise funds for our lifesaving programs.”
Proceeds from Kitten Yoga will benefit both Greenbrier Humane Society and Carnegie Hall’s community programming, supporting animal welfare initiatives and arts programming in the Greenbrier Valley.
Event details include:
$20 for members | $25 for nonmembers
All ages welcome
Maximum class size: 20 participants
Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
