LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – The 34th Anniversary of the Greenbrier Valley-Alderson Quilt Guild was celebrated Monday, April 20, at the Edgewood Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg, with a potluck luncheon and meeting. Anita Hill, Don Hill, and Mary Godby, three founding Guild members, were in attendance for a total of 29 participants. President Sharon Vance and members discussed topics that included baby quilts for local shelters and family centers, upcoming Quilts of Valor presentations, a review of the recent March quilt show at the Visitors Center, preparations for professional quilt documentation, and a May quilting class. The next quilt show is planned for November 2026. New members are welcome and may contact GValdersonquiltguild@gmail.com for upcoming meeting/class dates and times.
