LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The West Virginia Daily News/ Greenbrier Independent’s annual Greenbrier Humane Society item drive is in effect now through April 30.
Once again, the office is a drop-off point for pet products that will be delivered to the Greenbrier Humane Society. Our goal is 1,000 items; we currently only have two items.
Your donation to the Humane Society item drive plays a crucial role in supporting the mission of the Humane Society by ensuring animals receive the care and resources they need. Please donate to the Humane Society item drive. It is not just about donating goods; it is about making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals.
Requested items are clip-on and slip leashes, dry dog and cat food, HE laundry detergent, dryer sheets, Clorox wipes, dog and cat treats, toys, non-clumping cat litter, collars (medium and large), fortiflora, Fancy Feast wet kitten food, paper towels, 13-gallon trash bags, Dawn dish soap, and pet beds. Also, in need now, being kitten season, KMR kitten milk replacement.
Anyone wishing to donate to the drive can drop off items at the West Virginia Daily News office at 188 Foster St. in Lewisburg between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and we will make sure your donation gets delivered. Keep those items coming, we’re off to a slow start, but it’s not how you start the race, it’s how you finish!
