CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) released the following statement ahead of the Easter holiday on Sunday:

“Easter has always been one of my favorite times of the year because it fills our hearts with a deeper sense of love and gratitude for the Lord. I hope that everyone is able to spend this special time with family and friends, giving thanks for the many blessings we share. However you choose to celebrate—whether it be church worship, easter egg hunts, or a quiet dinner with loved ones, don’t forget to take a moment reflect, give thanks, and rejoice in the hope and joy of this Easter season.”
