Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Benefit Dinner Scheduled

WILLIAMSBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Welcome to the annual St. Patrick’s Day Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner on March 14. Serving time will be 2-6 p.m. at the Williamsburg Community Building, 6571 Shoestring Trail, Williamsburg.

The dinner will benefit the Williamsburg Food Pantry, which provides for 70-plus families. It will feature the group’s famous corn pone The meal will be served with corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, cornpone or rolls, a variety of desserts and tea or coffee. The cost is $15 for adults and $7.50 for children under 12; children under 6 are free.

Directions: Exit 161 from I-64, north on Route 12, east on Route 60, first road on the left (Sinking Creek Road-Williamsburg). Continue on the two-lane highway for about nine miles; the Williamsburg Community Building is on your left. The address is 6571 Shoestring Trail, Williamsburg.
