GREENBRIER COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – Regent Deborah Phillips called a special meeting for Feb. 9, to plan for the upcoming 122nd state conference of the West Virginia Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). It is to be held March 12-15, at The Greenbrier Hotel. The chapters in DAR’s Southern District will host the event. The General Andrew Lewis Chapter is one of three chapters participating.

Those members enjoying a Dutch-treat lunch prior to the meeting were: Doris Kasley, Brenda Spencer, Linda Spencer, Karen Lee McClung, Regent Deborah Phillips, former Regent Suzanne Cronquist, Suzanne Snyder, Ruth Sturgill, Gretchen Lovett, Carol Olson, Jodie Nidey and Judy Deegans.

Many decisions regarding our contributions to the convention were made, and those members present signed up for chores such as stuffing bags and attending to registration and auction tables. Linda and Brenda Spencer will head up decorating the tables. It was a productive meeting.
