LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) — With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Greenbrier Humane Society is reminding the community to join them for their upcoming Valentine’s Open House, “Paws and Purrs Valentine’s Celebration,” happening February 13th from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the shelter located at 151 Holliday Lane in Lewisburg.

This family-friendly celebration will feature door buster giveaways, refreshments, and a special Date Night/Self-Care raffle basket filled with items generously donated by local businesses. The event is designed to celebrate love in all its forms while supporting the lifesaving mission of Greenbrier Humane Society.

As part of the celebration, the shelter will offer a $14 Valentine’s Adoption Special for both cats and dogs, making this the perfect opportunity to welcome a new furry companion into your home.

Guests can enjoy the open house atmosphere, meet adoptable pets, and enter for a chance to win the Valentine’s raffle basket — ideal for a cozy date night or relaxing self-care evening.

Raffle Ticket Pricing:

• 1 ticket — $10
• 2 tickets — $15
• 3 tickets — $20
• 4 tickets — $25
• 5 tickets — $30
• 6 tickets — $35
• 7 tickets — $40
• 8 tickets — $45
• 10 tickets — $50

“All month long, we’re celebrating love,” said Logan Morgan, Community Liaison for Greenbrier Humane Society. “We hope the community will come out, have fun, and maybe even find their perfect Valentine in one of our adoptable pets.”

Proceeds from raffle participation and event activities will go directly toward the care of animals at the shelter.

For more information, follow Greenbrier Humane Society on social media or stop by the shelter.
