MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WVDN) – Today, Senator Justice released a statement applauding the multi-billion-dollar data center investment made by American Power and Intelligence Corporation in Mason County. This was part of his marquee effort to bring Fidelis New Energy to the state of West Virginia:

“I truly could not be prouder to see the seeds of our work from years ago begin to bloom in the state with this announcement from the American Power and Intelligence Corporation. These investments are a huge deal, and push West Virginia to the forefront of a new age. West Virginia has the energy, has the workforce, and has then economic environment to attract investment from around the world, and we’re only getting started. I ran the state like a business from the start, and nobody can deny business is absolutely booming,” said Senator Jim Justice.

BACKGROUND:

  • Senator Justice as Governor and Fidelis first announced the intention to develop a data center and microgrid campus in Mason County, West Virginia in 2023.
  • This announcement came as part of Justice’s economic development effort, which transformed the state economy, brought in new jobs, and created and business environment aimed to compete with other states.
  • This will be AIPC’s flagship investment in the state with immediate multi-gigawatt power capacity capabilities.
