RAINELLE (WVDN) – Thanks to a partnership between the Greenbrier County Deputy Sheriff Association, Rainelle Deli & Marketplace, and the Rainelle Moose Lodge, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 PM, members of the Deputy Sheriff Association provided Christmas meals at the Moose Lodge to members of the community that may be in need.

“We all know around this time of year, it can be hard for some, and this is a way for us to continue serving those in our county”, said Deputy S. Morris, Secretary/Treasurer for the Greenbrier County Deputy Sheriff Association.

Two-hundred meals were provided by the Rainelle Deli & Marketplace, and they were out of food in under an hour.

“A big thanks to Paula Dunford, with the Greenbrier County Board of Education for volunteering her time to help us.”
