BEAVER, W.Va. (WVDN) – New River Community and Technical College honored graduates of its Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program during a pinning ceremony held Friday, December 12 at the Greenbrier Valley Campus in Lewisburg. The ceremony marked a significant milestone, celebrating the students’ successful completion of the program and their transition into the nursing profession.

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program at New River CTC prepares students to become Registered Nurses (RNs) through a combination of rigorous academic coursework and hands-on clinical training. Designed for nursing licensure and immediate entry into the workforce, the program reflects the college’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for skilled, compassionate RNs who serve communities throughout West Virginia and beyond.

Congratulations to the students recognized at the ceremony:

Sabrina Bryant, Emily Canady, Trena Canady, Cami Cosner, Emily Dillard, Kylie Dunbar, Delaney Edwards, Meghan Fridley, Alexis Garansuay, Sarah Garland, Michele Harvy, Kitior NtantangAko, Kelly Peyatt, Ernestina Sarfo, Kassidy Tyson, and Heather Weikle.

For more information about the Associate Degree Nursing program, visit our ADN program page or contact the Nursing Director, Laurie Bourdeaux at ADN-Program@newriver.edu.
