LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) — The City of Lewisburg, in partnership with the State Fair of West Virginia, is bringing holiday cheer to the community with the new “Christmas at the Park” light display, set to open Saturday at Dorie Miller Park.

The city announced the details of the free drive-through light display on its official Facebook page, noting that the exhibit will run nearly every weekend through the end of December.

The “Christmas at the Park” display is a drive-through only event and will be open on the following schedule:

  • Opening Date: Saturday, Dec. 6.

  • Operating Days: Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

  • Closing Date: Sunday, December 28, 2025.

  • Hours: 6-9 p.m.

The only exception to the schedule is Thursday, December 25 (Christmas Day), when the display will be closed.

Visitors driving through the light display must access the park from Feamster Road off of Court Street. The City of Lewisburg is asking participants to be mindful and respectful of residents in the adjoining neighborhoods while waiting to enter the display.

Though the event is free to the public, donations will be accepted. All funds collected will be dedicated to the improvement of city parks.

The City expressed its gratitude to the State Fair of West Virginia for lending the display to the community for the holiday season.
