Beaver, W.Va. (WVDN) — New River Community and Technical College is offering a 90-hour Pre-License Salesperson Real Estate course beginning January 6, 2026, at the college’s Raleigh County Campus in Beaver.
Classes will meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. through March 12, 2026. The course provides the education required to sit for the West Virginia Real Estate Salesperson licensing exam and is open to anyone interested in beginning a career in real estate.
The course will be taught by David E. Chinn Jr., Chinn brings extensive experience and success in the field, holding the highest individual sales numbers in the region since January 2023, and offers students valuable insight into both the technical and practical aspects of the profession.
The cost for the course is $500, plus an additional $40 for the required textbook.
