RAINELLE W.Va. (WVDN) – Wellspring of Greenbrier is hosting a Health & Resource Fair for our Meadow River Valley Community on Wednesday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our new location at 223 Main Street in Rainelle.
Participating organizations include: Seed Sowers, Hospice Care, Fayette County Family Resource Network, WV WIC, WV Birth to 3, Greenbrier Pregnancy Center, Seneca Health, Rainelle Medical Center, New River Community Technical College, WV Healing Home, God’s Way Home, Shepherds Center, Greenbrier County Pre-K, and many more.
Greenbrier County Health Department will be providing free flu vaccinations to the community, and WellPoint has donated $25 Wal-Mart gift cards to the first 25 community members who receive a flu vaccine.
Wellspring of Greenbrier has been operating in the Meadow River Valley for over 20 years as a food pantry, hot meal program and Day Haven for housing-insecure community members. Our recent move to Rainelle provides us with a great platform to increase our outreach and support for those who are most marginalized.
