Greenbrier East Spartan baseball players, Tanner Skidmore and Zac Trump signed their national letters of intent to continue their careers on the diamond as both players will remain teammates and will be attending Mid-Atlantic Christian University.
Trump hit .296 this season with 14 RBI’s and he scored 21 runs. He also had 21 hits on the year.
Skidmore hit .254 and drove in 24 runs. He had five doubles and scored 14 runs.
Mid-Atlantic Christian is in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. They finished last season 15-25 and are coached by Michael Louis. The Mustangs were pretty good at home but were very young, which caused them to struggle on the road at times. Trump and Skidmore will look to add another dimension to the up-and-coming program.
