Fayetteville, W.Va. (WVDN) – Local residents and visitors attending this Saturday’s Bridge Day Celebration will have the opportunity to meet local entrepreneurs supported by the West Virginia Hive, the entrepreneurship program of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority. Four thriving small businesses are being showcased at the WV Hive Booths 190-192 on the south side of the New River Gorge bridge.

“For the past four years, the WV Hive has showcased at Bridge Day emerging businesses we have had the privilege to assist and let them shine in front of a local and national audience of visitors and potential customers,” said Judy Moore, Executive Director of the WV Hive. Moore encouraged people to check out their clients’ unique products and meet the makers.

The businesses being showcased this year include:

WildKat’s Herbal Oasis, based in northern Mercer County, WV, creates plant-based, chemical-free skincare using herbs grown on their homestead and wild, hand-foraged botanicals. Their products include Honey Luxe Body Wash, Magnesium Oil, Yarrow Helichrysum Lip Blends, Comfrey Salve, and more. Each item is crafted with pure, sustainable ingredients to provide skin care that’s as natural and nourishing as the land it comes from.

Spoonie Magic, based in Fayette County, is bringing its Magical Creation Station to Bridge Day, where kids (and grownups) can build their own one-of-a-kind art supply bags while enjoying free bubbles and music. We also create original coloring books that let adults reconnect with their inner child. Founded and operated by Cassandra Waller, a 100% service-connected disabled Army veteran, mom of five boys, and MS warrior, Spoonie Magic turns creativity into play, proving that art can heal and delight all at the same time!”

Kevbot Chocolate is an adventure-ready, small-batch craft chocolate company rooted in Monroe County since 2020. Their bean-to-bar chocolate is 100% Mountain State made with ethically sourced cacao and real ingredients. Bridge Day visitors can pick up popular pocket-sized bars like Original Dark, Salted Chili, or Mocha Magic Dark Milk Chocolate, as well as fall seasonal favorites like Pumpkin Cheesecake White Chocolate and S’mores Milk Chocolate.

PetTastic Creations specializes in handmade, customizable embroidered bandannas for dogs and cats, with each design adding personality and style to every pet. Based in Mercer County, West Virginia, they serve pet lovers locally and across the U.S. through their Etsy shop. As a small business with a big heart, PetTastic Creations not only creates unique pet accessories but also supports local animal shelters by donating bandannas to help adoptable pets find their forever homes.
