LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) — Taste of Our Towns (TOOT) is turning up the volume on community spirit with a brand-new tradition: the TOOT Bucket Brigade! Debuting this year on Saturday, October 11, Carnegie Hall’s Board of Directors will parade through the festival crowd at 12:15 PM and 1:30 PM, bringing a burst of New Orleans-inspired energy to the streets of downtown Lewisburg.
Armed with instruments and collection buckets, the brigade will groove to a festive playlist while collecting donations to support Carnegie Hall’s mission of bringing the arts to life for the community. It’s a joyful, interactive way to engage festival-goers—and a reminder that TOOT is more than a food celebration. It’s a fundraiser that fuels arts education, performances, and outreach across Greenbrier Valley.
What to Expect:
Live, roving music with a New Orleans flair
Board members playing instruments and collecting donations
Two parade appearances: 12:15 PM and 1:30 PM
A chance to support Carnegie Hall in a fun, face-to-face way
So, when you hear the beat and see the buckets, join the rhythm and give what you can. Every dollar helps Carnegie Hall continue its work as the cultural heartbeat of Lewisburg.
2025 TOOT Sponsors include Greenbrier Valley Pediatric Dentistry (Kids’ Zone) and the American Beer Company (Beer & Cider Garden). Sponsorships are still available. Contact Development Director Sally Bray at TOOT@carnegiehallwv.org for more information.
