The Governor’s Workforce Credential was created to ensure that West Virginia’s developing workforce has industry-ready skills to meet high-quality business and industry expectations. Earning a GWC will allow employers to quickly identify potential employees for a variety of skilled job openings. Twenty-four states throughout the United States have implemented a Workforce Credential to promote the quality of their respective workforces.
Suzanne Bicksler, Samantha Bostic, Zachary Ellis, Logan Hill, Lauren Quick, Mary Christine Scronce and Hunter Walmsley, all GEHS seniors, earned the Governor’s Workforce credential.
A total Of 208 GEHS seniors from the class of 2021 completed in a Career and Technical Program.
