The Greater Greenbrier COVID-19 Task Force met this morning via conference call and reports the following information.
- HEALTH DEPARTMENT. The latest numbers will be posted on social media.
- GREENBRIER COUNTY SCHOOLS. Graduation ceremonies went well! Many thanks to the community for their support.
- ROBERT C BYRD CLINIC. For patients coming into the clinic, we continue to require masks for staff and patients indoors per CDC guidelines for healthcare settings. Mobile testing continues daily until 1pm. Vaccine clinics continue to operate on Thursdays. If you want a dose, give us a call.
- RAINELLE MEDICAL CENTER. Still free testing everyday from 10am-12pm by appointment only. We have all three vaccines available by appointment call the clinic 304-438-6188. We are vaccinating ages 12 and older. We continue to abide by the CDC guidelines and require masks.
- COMMITTEE ON AGING. We are in the process of reopening our senior center with safety guidelines in place. We aim to reopen the Senior Center on June 21.
- HIGH ROCKS. We continue to offer meals four days per week. That will continue over the summer. If you’d like to order a meal, please call 304-647-4994. The cafe is also open weekdays from 9am-3pm.
- VACCINE CLINIC MEALS. This is our last week of meal service. It will be provided by Stardust and is sponsored by The GEHS HOSA class in honor of Tia! Thank you Tia for all you have done. You are much loved!
- TASK FORCE MEETINGS. The Greater Greenbrier COVID Task Force will begin meeting every other week at this point. As in the past, we will remain committed to the task and able to meet more often as needed should a need arise.
