FAIRLEA- Layne Lambert, who plays for the Greenbrier East Spartans baseball team in the spring and the Beckley Bash American Legion in the summer, just recently attended a showcase at Ohio State University and was one of eight out of 80 high school baseball players selected and invited to a National Showcase in Los Angeles, California to showcase his pitching ability in front of college coaches and MLB scouts.
He will get to experience throwing in an MLB Stadium, Angels Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Angels.

Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform in an MLB Stadium, this event will provide the opportunity to be evaluated and instructed by top college coaches, professional scouts, and MLB/MiLB developmental coaches.
The showcase will take place from November 8-9, 2025.
