West Virginia State Parks Announces 2025 Farm-to-Table Dinner Series

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVDN) — West Virginia State Parks is proud to announce the return of its highly anticipated Farm-to-Table Dinner Series for 2025, celebrating local flavors, scenic settings, and unforgettable dining experiences at five iconic state parks.

Guests are invited to enjoy curated menus crafted with locally sourced ingredients, highlighting the best of Appalachian cuisine in serene and stunning park environments. Each event offers a unique experience, with live entertainment, chef-prepared meals, and charming venues across the Mountain State.

2025 Farm-to-Table Dinner Series Schedule:

  • Chief Logan State Park – August 9, 6–8 PM
    Enjoy Appalachian folk music by Roger Bryant and a full dinner at the park restaurant.

  • Cacapon Resort State Park – August 16, 5 PM Cocktails / 6 PM Dinner
    Held on the top level at Cacapon’s historic CCC constructed Bath House facility, this evening will feature a locally inspired meal and potential entertainment from regional artist Adam Keeling.

  • Canaan Valley Resort State Park – August 16, 5 PM Cocktails / 6 PM Dinner
    Taking place in the Maple Room of the Main Lodge, this dinner includes lodging packages and live entertainment.

  • Twin Falls Resort State Park – August 28, 4 PM Hayrides / 5 PM Dinner
    Guests can enjoy live music and farm-style dining at the park’s historic Pioneer Farm.

    Dinner will be served family-style in courses at The Cookhouse Restaurant, with a cozy single seating.

    Join us in the Bluestone Dining Room for a full buffet dinner featuring regional dishes.

  • North Bend State Park – September 14, 5 PM and 7 PM Seatings
    A community celebration with live music, an ice cream making station, local vendors, wine tastings, and a buffet dinner at Shelter 4.

  • Hawks Nest State Park – September 20, 6 PM Dinner
    Hosted in the park restaurant, this event promises a cozy setting paired with locally inspired fare.

  • Blackwater Falls State Park – September 26, 5 PM Cocktails / 6 PM Dinner
    Held in the Harr Conference Center at Blackwater Lodge.  This elegant evening will feature a seasonal menu showcasing fresh, regional ingredients.

  • Tygart Lake State Park – October 4, 5:30 PM Cocktail Hour / 6–8 PM Dinner
    Hosted in The Lodge Restaurant, this event includes a locally sourced menu and a stunning lakeside view.

Each dinner features a limited number of tickets to preserve an intimate dining atmosphere, so early reservations are encouraged. Menus and entertainment details are available on each event’s webpage.
