LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Officials at the State Fair of West Virginia are honored to announce that renowned artist and longtime fair supporter Robert Tuckwiller has created the official commemorative poster for the 100th Annual State Fair of West Virginia, set for Aug. 7-16.

A native of the Greenbrier Valley, with deep family ties to the fair, Tuckwiller is one of today’s most prolific and successful American Artists. His award-winning paintings capture the serene beauty of rural landscapes and can be found in over 50,000 collections across the globe. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous honors, including an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Concord University, for his lifetime accomplishments and contributions to support educational, social, environmental, and community development initiatives.

“I was very pleased to have the opportunity to create the poster to celebrate the Fair’s 100 years,” Tuckwiller said. “The Fair has been a wonderful tradition since the beginning, not only for my family and me, but for all fairgoers and enthusiasts everywhere. The poster showcases many Fair images and fond memories through the years.”

This limited-edition poster will be available for purchase at the State Fair’s official merchandise booth during this year’s centennial celebration.
