A Greenbrier County man was arrested on the evening of Sunday, May 2 after allegedly assaulting his mother in her home. Baxter Alexander Leech, 35, of White Sulphur Springs has been charged with domestic battery, and one-count of obstructing an officer.
According to the victim’s statement, Leech arrived at the victim’s home in possession of a bottle of alcohol. The victim then instructed a minor who was present at the time to contact law enforcement. The victim further stated that Leech head butted her a second time, causing damage to her mouth, before leaving the house and walking away up Big Draft Road.
