To: Madeline Kay Mace and Amy Loraine Burd also known as Amy Loraine Neace

The above-captioned civil action concerns and involves a Complaint filed by the plaintiffs, Channing B. Judy and Autumn S. Judy (“Plaintiffs”), seeking, among other things, to quiet title to that certain lot or parcel of real property located in Fort Springs District, Greenbrier County, West Virginia designated or identified as parcel 0029 of tax map 15 described as follows:

All that certain lot or parcel of land lying on the public road about two miles north east of the Town of Ronceverte, containing one (1) acre, more or less, bounded as follows: Beginning in the head of a spring on Cumby’s line, and leaving N 20 W 8 poles to the center of the public road, and with said road N 8 poles to post in the fence on the east side of the road, and leaving said road N 42 E 8 ½ poles to a stake near the corner of the graveyard, S 45 E 12 poles to a stake on Cumby’s line, and with same S 3 7 W 17 ½ poles to the beginning (“Subject Property”).

In particular, the Complaint contains three causes of action or counts- [1] Estoppel and Release, [2] Adverse Possession, and [3] Partition.

It appears by affidavit filed in the above-captioned civil action that despite Plaintiffs’ due diligence, the whereabouts of Madeline Kay Mace and Amy Loraine Burd, also known as Amy Loraine Neace, are unascertainable and unknown, thus it is ORDERED that Madeline Kay Mace and Amy Loraine Burd, also known as Amy Loraine Neace, and all other parties who claim an interest in the Subject Land by, through, or under them must appear and defend on before July 18, 2025, which is not fewer than thirty (30) days after the date of the first publication of this notice, otherwise judgement by default will be rendered at any time thereafter.

Counsel for Plaintiffs are Robert Louis Shuman and Nathanial Louis Shuman of Reeder Shuman PLLC, 256 High Street, Morgantown, West Virginia 26505.

A copy of the Complaint may be obtained from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Greenbrier County, West Virginia located at 912 Court Street N., Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901.
