MAXWELTON W.Va. (WVDN) – Greenbrier Humane Society is partnering with Smooth Ambler Spirits for a heartwarming and tail-wagging good time at Whiskey & Whiskers, a GHS Day of Giving with Pernod set for Thursday, June 5 from 3-6 p.m.

Guests 21 and over will receive one complimentary cocktail upon arrival (with valid ID), courtesy of Smooth Ambler. Additional cocktails will be available for purchase, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages will be on hand to ensure everyone feels welcome.

Feeling hungry? The one and only Weenie King food truck will be on-site, serving up gourmet hot dogs fit for royalty.

Of course, the stars of the event are the adoptable pets from Greenbrier Humane Society. Attendees can spend time cuddling, walking, and bonding with lovable shelter animals in a shaded area set up for maximum comfort. With any luck, many of these furry friends will find their forever homes that day!

As a special thank-you, Smooth Ambler Spirits will offer a free collar or leash and 10% off all tasting room merchandise to anyone who adopts a pet during the event. We’ll also have treats, pup cups, and goodies on hand so guests can spoil their favorite four-legged companions—whether they’re bringing one home or just stopping by for a visit.

Come sip, snack, and support a great cause—because there’s nothing better than good whiskey and even better company.

For more information, contact Greenbrier Humane Society by calling 304-645-4775 or sending an email to info@greenbrierhumane.com.
